Alissa Stallings is a writer of art historical mysteries that highlight the historical lack of representation of women artists in western art. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art history from the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She worked as an art and valuables expert for an insurance company, and a food critic for the Mountain View Voice before becoming a Senior Communications Director for a graduate university. Alissa is a member of the Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and The Authors Guild. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
